               and (v) discontinuation/withdrawal from studies and research.


               The Activities

                        » Conducting specialized technical and research mentorship for women
                       researchers;

                        » Awarding proposal-development grants to women researchers undertaking
                       technical and research mentorship;

                        » Establishing a scholarship fund for women;
                        » Awarding at least 50 per cent of all CMAP, CMAAE, and CPP
                       scholarships to women;

                        » Conducting women-only visiting scholars research and mentorship exchange
                       programmes with targeted institutions;

                        » Conducting sensitization missions to countries with low women enrolment;

                        » Mentoring of early-career women scholars and researchers by a team of highly
                       accomplished women leaders, scholars, and researchers;
                        » Conducting specialized technical and research mentorship for researchers from
                       fragile and post-conflict nations;

                        » Conducting master’s and PhD bridge programmes for students from fragile and
                       post-conflict nations; and

                        » Awarding at least 30 per cent of all CMAP, CMAAE, and CPP scholarships to
                       master’s and PhD Bridge Programme alumni.


               The Output

               The output will be increased enrolment of women and participants from fragile and post-
               conflict nations in research and training activities of AERC.




               3: Expand Influence



               Outcome 1:  Create a collaborating platform for national think tanks, national and
                            regional institutions, ministries, and policymakers to foster the uptake
                            of economic policy research, analysis, data sharing, and dialogue.


               AERC will leverage its convening power and knowledge base to enhance local and regional
               impact and influence economic policymaking in the region, by:


                        » Becoming an anchor institution coordinating national think tanks; supporting
                       local capacity-building through economic research; and providing policy
                       guidance to national governments;
