THE AERC 2020–2025 STRATEGIC PLAN

A Monitoring and Evaluation Framework (MEF) has been developed to define the key
aspects of what will constitute performance against the AERC’s 2020–2025 Strategic
Plan. The MEF defines key terms, outlines the types of information and indicators to be
compiled, and charts a general approach to implementation and management of the
framework. The MEF presents the overall goal; impact; outcomes; outputs; activities
and their associated indicators; baseline; targets disaggregated annually; risks and
assumptions; the data collection instrument; and usage frequency for the indicators in
the monitoring and evaluation process.
