GPIR Ghana Dissemination Workshop

AERC, with funding from NORAD is implementing the country case studies phase of “Re-examining the Growth, Poverty, Inequality and Redistribution Relationships in Africa (GPIR project)’’ that covers 7 African countries: Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, Cameroon, Malawi, Togo, and Nigeria. The researchers in the project have completed their papers and are expected to disseminate their findings in a national dissemination workshop.

The paper to be disseminated in Ghana is titled “Examining poverty dynamics in Ghana: evidence from longitudinal and repeated cross-sectional data” by Dede W. Gafa, Bernardin Senadza, and Louis Hodey.

The University of Ghana – Economics Department will convene the workshop on behalf of AERC on 2 August 2023 from 9.00 am at the CEDI Conference Center at the University of Ghana in Accra.
