AERC will be participating in the G20/FiCS Summit
AERC in partnership with Africa Centre for Economic Transformation (ACET) based in Accra, Ghana, is organising a Task Force Roundtable, under the theme “IMF 2030: Advancing Global Financial Architecture Reforms for Climate Prosperity,” to be held on February 26, 2025, in Cape Town, South Africa. This roundtable meeting will be a side event of the G20 / Finance in Common Summits (FiCS) conference scheduled at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from February 26 –27, 2025. The roundtable aims to convene government and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. central bank officials), to explore pathways for IMF reforms aligned with aspirations for a climate-resilient future.
