High Level Dialogue on Gender Inequality and Food Systems in Africa

African Economic Research Consortium AERC in partnership with OXFAM International and AU ECOSOCC will have a side event in collaboration with ECOSOCC (13th July 2022) and a panel session with GIMAC (12th July 2022) during the 4th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union. The side event is a High-Level Dialogue on Gender Inequality and Food Systems and is informed This Dialogue is in formed by the outcomes of Gendered Impact of Covid 19 on Livelihoods in Africa study. The GIMAC panel is on Time poverty: Unpaid care and domestic work impact on food production, Nutrition, and women Economic Empowerment.
