Challenges and opportunities of climate change: The case of East Africa
February 21, 2023Brookings hosted a virtual public launch event on Thursday, February 16, from 9:30 – 11:00 am ET. This included a cross-section of chapter authors to highlight the richness of contributions across the volume.
The Center for Sustainable Development (CSD) at Brookings Global Economy and Development Program launched “Keys to Climate Action: How developing countries could drive global success and local prosperity,” Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u and Prof. Théophile T. Azomahou have co-authored chapter 8 on Challenges and opportunities of climate change: The case of East Africa.
The chapter documents the challenges and opportunities of climate change in East Africa to enable the region to have a cleaner and more prosperous future where the adverse effects of climate change are limited.
This publication is part of the edited volume “Keys to Climate Action”.
