Dr. Anthony Mathae Maruping is the former Commissioner, Deptartment of Econic Affairs, The African Union Commission.

BA, MA, PhD, Economics and MBA. 1982-86, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NUL; 1988-98, Governor, CBL; 1998-2005, Executive Director, MEFMI, Eastern and Southern Africa; 2006-12, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Lesotho to UNOG, WTO, etc. and 2009-12, to the Swiss Confederation. Since 2013, Commissioner for Economic Affairs, African Union. Has chaired boards, councils and committees in various national, regional and international organizations.
