Shared Facility for Specialization and Electives

The SFSE offers students an expanded selection of elective subjects in addition to a foundation course in their preferred fields of specialized study during the third semester of their studies. All CMAAE students proceed to the SFSE located at the University of Pretoria South Africa. At the facility lectures specialized in various fields competitively selected from all over the globe to teach during the 4 months period between August and November. At the SFSE CMAAE students get an opportunity to access over 1600 online journals, up to date reference text books and well advanced teaching facilities.  Therefore, the SFSE addresses the problem of shortage of qualified subject specialists and facilities.

The course selection at the SFSE comprises a Foundation course in specialized field; Institutional and Behavioral Economics; two electives and Thesis seminar (in all fields). In Addition, in the electives students have the freedom to select one additional elective from any other area of specialization outside their immediate field.
